olive can do insanely gymnastic soccer moves with a little squishy yellow ball. she'll chase it if it's thrown, bat it with her paw off a variety of surfaces in the room, toss it up into the air with both paws. she can even sort of catch it by throwing her whole body underneath the ball. sometimes, if it has been too active, she'll sit on it for a while. i imagine a mouse might be smothered. she's a cold and calculating genius, really.
